Senator Menjivar Honors the Life of Oscar Omar Hernandez

On May 15, 2025, Senator Menjivar asked that the California Senate adjourn in memory of Oscar Omar Hernandez. Oscar was a vibrant and joyful 13-year-old from Sun Valley, whose tragic passing left an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family, friends and community.
