In the Community
Thank you, UCLA Early Headstart parents and staff, for joining me at Colores con Caroline in Arleta! This was the perfect setting to speak directly with parents about my bills, community concerns with ongoing ICE activities, and the impact of the federal government shutdown on vital programs like this one for our early learners.
Community Resources
SD 20 homeowners!! Registration for the Earthquake Brace + Bolt (EBB) program has now been extended through October 17, 2025. Homeowners in qualifying ZIP CODES in Burbank and San Fernando Valley can APPLY for grants of up to $3,000 to help strengthen their homes against earthquake damage.
¡Propietarios de viviendas del Distrito Escolar 20°! La inscripción para el programa de Refuerzos y Pernos para Terremotos (EBB) se ha extendido hasta el 17 de octubre de 2025. Los propietarios de viviendas en los códigos postales que califiquen en Burbank y el Valle de San Fernando pueden SOLICITAR subvenciones de hasta $3,000 para ayudar a reforzar sus viviendas contra daños por terremotos.

In response to concerns from our Sun Valley community, I am hosting a Town Hall where you can hear updates on South Coast AQMD’s efforts to advance accountability for aggregate facilities and improve air quality. Learn about enhanced enforcement efforts and future community engagement, be able to ask questions, and make your voice heard!
