In the Community
With the help of our partners and hardworking volunteers, my 3RD ANNUAL TURKEY GIVEAWAY served over 800 families FREE turkeys and boxes of fresh produce!
Community Resources
LA County’s Emergency Rental Relief Program will help qualifying tenants and landlords who are facing emergency financial hardships. Eligible residents, regardless of immigration status, may receive up to $15,000 in rent relief. Fill out the Interest Form to be among the first to receive the application when it opens!
The Microenterprise Recovery Grant Program is now open for Round 3, offering financial recovery support for eligible microenterprises. Applications close on December 8, 2025, so be sure to APPLY soon!

The More You Know
Were you prepared for last month’s rain storm? Well CalTrans made sure the NB I-5 in SD 20 was ready! Ahead of the rain, they had crews stabilizing the slopes, removing slough from the right shoulders, cleaning drainage systems, and placing fiber rolls and jute mats for erosion control. On top of all that, as a precautionary measure, they set up backup pumps!
